Indianapolis to let loose at Mardi Gras
Indianapolis will get all decked out in purple, green, and gold next month during the Mardi Gras Bar Crawl.
Bar Crawl Events, LLC, will host February’s bar crawl and provide a day of bead-throwing, Hurricane-drinking, and other festivities in celebration of Mardi Gras. Bar crawlers will be able to follow an interactive map online that will highlight the participating bars and restaurants. Unlike other bar crawls with an itinerary to follow, the Mardi Gras Bar Crawl will allow attendees to visit any of the participating bars on the list in any order.
Tickets include a generous bundle of beads, a 16-ounce Mardi Gras color-changing stadium cup, discounted food and drink specials at participating bars, and no cover at those venues. The first 250 people to register will also receive a Mardi Gras masquerade mask. Organizers encourage attendees to dress up in their most outrageous Mardi Gras costumes. Groups will receive 25% off general admission.
Businesses that participate in these events often choose to advertise their involvement with banners outside the venue, which makes shops specializing in banner printing an attractive option for sponsors.
The Indianapolis Mardi Gras Bar Crawl is scheduled for February 26 from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm. It will take place along Broad Ripple Avenue area. Super Early Bird tickets are available on Eventbrite for $12 until January 21.
