Indianapolis to enjoy sweet treats and libations
Next month, Wicked Events will hold the Indianapolis Hard Cider & Doughnut Fest for any cider lover with a sweet tooth wanting to join in on the sugary festivities.
Wicked Events is a nationwide events-planning organization that hosts a variety of unique events throughout the year. Some examples of these events include St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, holiday bashes, and themed bar crawls such as the one happening in October.
The cider and doughnut fest is billed as being part bar crawl, part sweets celebration. It will feature five Indianapolis bars and restaurants, entertainment such as live DJs at venues, 1,000 free doughnuts to be given away, and drink specials on craft beer, hard ciders, and hard seltzers. Ticket purchases include entry into the venues, access to drink specials, and two free doughnuts per person. Tickets do not, however, include free drinks at any location. Tickets must either be printed out or scanned on a mobile device.
Local print shops may offer helpful services to participants who need to print out event tickets or other related materials but do not have a personal printer at home to do so.
The cider and sweets festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 14 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The registration point will be at Brothers Bar & Grill on 910 Broad Ripple Avenue. Tickets are $19.99.
