Indianapolis to discover the wonders of burrata and ricotta

This April, Tulip Tree Creamery will be offering the Ricotta and Burrata Making Class, an intermediate cheese-making class for Indianapolis locals already familiar with the techniques.

Tulip Tree Creamery is a local creamery offering up homemade cheese and dairy products made from traditional European recipes, along with various classes. April’s class will focus on how to make burrata and ricotta cheese. Students should make sure they take the beginner mozzarella making class before attending this class.

The class will begin by teaching students how to use fresh, pasteurized milk to make hand-ladled ricotta. Participants will also learn about various recipes that use ricotta in dishes. After that, the class will focus on using fresh mozzarella curd for burrata making. The instructor will provide a demonstration of the process, and then students will make two balls of burrata on their own.

Before the class, the creamery will provide a complimentary cheese tasting. The business will also offer a 10% discount on all cheeses and butters sold in the shop.

The Ricotta and Burrata Making Class is slated for Saturday, April 3, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Tickets are $60. Flyer printing may be a useful way for organizers of such events to create flyers to hang up in and around their shop to advertise the event.
