Indianapolis soon to be rocking out
Indianapolis will be rocking soon, thanks to three major outfits.
Barenaked Ladies are on the way, with the Gin Blossoms and Toad the Wet Sprocket touring with them.
The Barenaked Ladies are a Canadian group that was founded in the 1980s by Steven Page and Ed Robertson, transforming from a duo to a five-piece band. “The Yellow Tape,” their self-released EP, hit the market in 1991, and went platinum. They are known for their mix of rock, pop, and comedy.
A review calls them:
Tempe, Arizona, is the birthplace of the Gin Blossoms. Sometimes called an “alternative” rock band, their breakthrough came in 1992 when they released “New Miserable Experience.” A track from the album, “Hey Jealousy,” hit the charts and gained gold status, and the album went quadruple platinum.

In 1986, high school chums got together to form Toad the Wet Sprocket. The group hit it big with their third album, “Fear.” The success of the album, which achieved platinum status, paved the way for a number of tours.

The bands will be at the Amphitheater at White River State Park on July 5, at 7.00 pm. Flyer printing is an excellent mechanism for creating publicity handouts for this kind of event.
