Indianapolis luncheon to discuss entertainment economics

The Economic Club of Indiana will present its November luncheon in Indianapolis, focusing on topics relating to the business and economics of the entertainment industry.

The Economic Club of Indiana has been bringing together emerging and established leaders in the central Indiana area since 1974. The club holds important monthly luncheons in which prominent public speakers and industry leaders are invited to speak on a variety of economic and social issues that impact the local economy. Participants of these luncheons can gain insight into these issues so that they can be better informed and understand how they influence real-world situations in their communities.

The November luncheon will feature the Business of Entertainment Panel, with speakers such as Jenny Boyts, CEO of Forty5 Presents; Dave Clark, president of the Great Lakes Region of LiveNation; and Chris Gahl, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Visit Indy. This panel will go over a variety of topics relating to the current economic trends present in the entertainment industry.

Attendees of business luncheons such as this will often show up to the event with a supply of business cards to hand out during networking sessions.

Next month’s business luncheon will take place on November 12 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. It will be held at the Indiana Convention Center, which is located at South Capitol Avenue.
