Country duo coming to Indianapolis
A duo of rising country music stars is on the way to Indianapolis.
Dan + Shay is Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, both of whom are songwriters and singers. They record with Warner Records Nashville, and to date have three albums, all on that label.
Nine singles were released from among the three albums, and five of those singles went to No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart; two hit the top spot on the Hot Country Singles list. As well as writing songs of their own, Dan + Shay have worked with the likes of Kelly Clarkson, RaeLynn, Lindsey Stirling, and Rascal Flatts.
The duo has won a number of awards, including the 2018 Country Music Television (CMT) Music Awards Duo Video of the Year for their song “Tequila,” and the Grammy Award for their performance of the same song.
