Country artist to visit Indianapolis
A country music artist will play one evening in Indianapolis.
Josh Gracin first came to public notice when he appeared on “American Idol,” where he finished fourth. Even more unusual, he was still on active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps during his television appearances. Once he received his discharge, he was signed by Lyric Street Records.
In 2004, he released his debut album, “Josh Gracin,” which rose to No. 2 on the country charts. One of the tracks on the album, “Nothin' to Lose,” went to the top spot, and two others made it into the top five on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. The RIAA certified the album gold. In 2008, he released “We Weren't Crazy,” which put five more songs on the charts, including the title track making the top 10.
In late 2011, Gracin released his third album, “Redemption.” One track from this album, “Long Way to Go,” was the first of Gracin's singles to find a place on the adult contemporary chart, rather than the country lists.
