What's Happening in Indianapolis, IN…

Construction could start soon on Fall Creek development

If all goes well at an upcoming meeting with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Development Commission, as is expected, a new townhouse development in the Fall Creek neighborhood could break ground by the end of 2018.

The $2m project is by Litz &Eaton Development Company, which is based in Indianapolis. The company plans to add five townhomes at the corner of Fall Creek Parkway South Drive and North Delaware Street, spreading them across a quarter of an acre on five lots. Each home will offer 2,100 square feet, and will add to the redevelopment of the area.

Once the commission approves the project, as Brad Litz, the developer expects, he plans to see final drawings of the construction within a week of the approval, and then the company will begin the process of obtaining the necessary permits. He expects to start construction in December. Companies like this can work with a brochure printing company to create booklets that will show prospective buyers the amenities of the properties.

Each townhome is three stories tall, and is expected to have a garage on the first floor, in addition to 250-400 square feet of additional space. The garages will be accessed from an alley. The houses will have rooftop terraces from which residents can see the skyline of downtown Indianapolis. Prices range from $499,900 to $599,900, and the townhomes can be customized by the buyer.
