Blues artist to headline in Indianapolis
An artist who truly understands the blues will appear in Indianapolis in early 2021.
Beth Hart has taken themes like grief, broken relationships, and addiction, and blended them into a career that defines the blues. Hart is a native of Los Angeles, where she started her career playing in clubs. In 1993, she appeared on “Ed McMahon's Star Search,” where she won the prize for Female Vocalist.
Her breakthrough came in 1999, with the release of “Screaming for My Supper,” her third album. Her single from that album, “LA Song (Out of This Town),” went into the Top 5 on soft rock charts, and was a No. 1 hit in New Zealand. She collaborated with blues legend Joe Bonamassa on “Seesaw,” which was nominated for Best Blues Album by the Grammy Awards in 2014.
