Alaska Airlines adding new service from Indianapolis

On August 3, Alaska Airlines announced it will begin offering nonstop flights to Seattle from Indianapolis, according to an article on IndyStar.

The new service is slated to begin sometime in Spring 2017. In its news release, Alaska called Indianapolis ‘the Silicon Valley of the Midwest’, and that the new service would then link it with Seattle, which supports many of the high-tech companies operating in the Pacific Northwest.

Alaska feels that Indianapolis is becoming a desirable destination for vacationers. Among the many attractions and developments that have attracted the airline's attention are a growing craft beer industry, two pro sports teams, and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway – home of the ‘500’.

Alaska plans to use Boeing 737s on the run. The aircraft will have leather seats, power outlets so passengers can charge their laptops and other electronic devices, and downloadable free entertainment. Premium entertainment will also be available for purchase. Beverages and food inspired by the Pacific Northwest will be served on the route.

Tickets have already gone on sale for the new nonstop flights, even though they do not begin for months. Interested parties should contact the airline to purchase them.

Companies like these can benefit by working with newsletter printing companies, which can create newsletters in which organizations can explain, in detail, plans and changes they intend to make in their services.
