Boise wine aficionados who want to learn more about the drink they love are invited to attend an event that will help them to do just that.
The workshop will teach those who take part how to blind taste different wines. They will learn how to use their sense of taste and smell, as well as deductive reasoning, to determine where the grapes were grown, what variety they are, the style of the wine and more, all without actually seeing it. The ultimate goal of the event is to help those who take part get the most from their next glass of wine.
Since this has been designed as a hands-on style activity, participants will be tasting the wine themselves, and there will also be other experiments for them to try. At least five wines will be sampled, and light appetizers will also be served. A printer can supply custom Drinkware for use during this type of function.
Boise’s House of Wines will be hosting the evening, which will take place on December 6th from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Tickets have been priced at $45.00 each, and as only a limited number have been made available, the organizers encourage that anyone who wishes to attend purchase theirs as soon as possible.
Further information and tickets are available through the Wine 401: Blind Tasting Secrets Eventbrite page.
