Boise will host a major animal-welfare fundraiser very soon as the See Spot Walk returns to Julia Davis Park.
The event, organized by the Idaho Humane Society, centers on a one-mile dog walk along the iconic Boise River Greenbelt, drawing hundreds of animal lovers and their four-legged companions. The 2026 edition marks the walk’s 34th year and is designed to support the organization’s lifesaving work for pets across the state. After the walk, attendees can enjoy a pet-focused celebration featuring humorous dog contests, local food trucks, unique vendors, giveaways, and the Alumni Pet Parade. Registration includes a See Spot Walk T shirt, with limited-edition hoodies also available.
The morning will open with welcome remarks and announcements at 10:00 AM, followed by the one-mile Greenbelt walk at 10:30 AM, dog contests starting at 11:30 AM, an Alumni Pet Parade at 12:25 PM, and a closing celebration at 12:30 PM.
