Boise to host charity scavenger hunt

Relay for Rescue will host its second annual fundraising event in Boise this August.

The charity scavenger hunt is designed to bring animal lovers together for an afternoon of fun while raising money and awareness for local animal welfare organizations, seven of which will join forces to support their individual causes.

Participants will compete in a scavenger hunt and a variety of team-based challenges, including a balloon hop, locked elbows, newspaper press, and other activities. Organizers say the event offers a safe and engaging way for community members to support animals in need.

Registration costs $40 and includes a color-coordinated T-shirt representing the participant's chosen organization, as well as a donation to the charity.

Organizers are aiming to attract more than 250 participants and raise at least $15,000 through registrations and sponsorships. Funds raised through the event will help support the participating animal welfare organizations and their ongoing programs.

Events like this often rely on banner printing and other promotional materials to help build awareness and encourage community involvement. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses and organizations interested in supporting the fundraiser.

Relay for Rescue 2026 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 1 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at The Warehouse Food Hall in Boise. Participants who register by July 19 can guarantee their preferred T-shirt size and color.
