Boise residents, both the young and the young at heart, are invited to visit an event that will light up the nighttime sky along with their friends, family, and neighbors.
The Lantern Fest will see thousands of people come together to enjoy music, dancing, and freshly made s’mores. The celebration will culminate with the release of thousands of softly lit lanterns into the darkness. They will symbolize letting go of the past and looking forward to the future.
Those who wish to take part are advised to bring along a chair to relax in or a blanket to sit on, a warm jacket as the night air can be chilly, and money or a credit card to purchase refreshments. It is also advised that they try and carpool if possible, as it is better for the environment and there may be a fee for parking. Poster printing services can be used to create a variety of materials that can promote events such as this throughout the area.
The Lantern Fest is set to take place on April 30th at the Meridian Speedway, which is located at 335 South Main Street in Meridian.
