Food and drink pairing celebrated at festival

Boise’s beer and bacon lovers will soon have a reason to indulge at an event that promises to be one of the biggest of its kind to be held in the state.

The organizers of the Boise Beer and Bacon Festival have created an event they hope will be even bigger and better than in previous years. The attendees will be treated to samples of dishes crafted by some of the community's top chefs, who will each prepare a dish to enter in the bacon-inspired cookoff.

Each of the ticket holders for the afternoon will be able to enjoy samples of as many of the dishes as they wish, and to help wash it down, they can try one of the various craft beers and ciders that will be on tap. At least 25 different breweries will be lending their talents to the occasion. Before they leave for home, everyone will be invited to cast their vote for their favorite bacon recipe.

Organizing a function like this can be challenged, but Print shops can ease the burden. They will be able to supply everything from planning sheets and waivers, to printed T-Shirts for the staff and volunteers who will be working during the event.

This chance to enjoy an assortment of food, drinks, and fun will be held on October 2. Tickets are $35 each, and it is scheduled to take place at 5610 North Glenwood Street.
