Each October, Boise youngsters hit the streets in their neighborhood to do some trick or treating, and thanks to a local activity, the “big kids” will be able to get in on the Halloween fun as well.
A Halloween-themed bar crawl will be on offer in the city. This will be the seventh year in which the activity has taken place. It is anticipated that there will be hundreds of participants, and everyone is encouraged to wear a costume for the celebration.
Registrants for the crawl will be able to redeem their tickets for two or three bar shots or drinks, and there will be no cover charge at any of the stops on the route. A costume contest is in the works, and the winner will receive a $1,000 prize. There will also be exclusive drink deals for the crawlers. Food specials will be available, and an after party has been planned.
Along with the rest of the perks, some participants will receive a cup printed with a custom graphic design. These will be distributed to the first 400 to check in, and they will also receive a key chain lanyard that includes a bottle opener. Customized Halloween badges will be distributed to each registrant.
This night of pre-Halloween fun will hit the streets in Boise’s downtown on Saturday, October 26. The starting point will be Cactus Bar located at 517 West Main Street.
