Fresh herbs can be used in a variety of ways, and a workshop planned for Boise will teach the public how they can grow them in their own home or garden.
Many herbs are suitable for going at home, even if all the space that has available is a sunny windowsill. Gold Feather Gardens’ Jamie Brennan will walk the attendees in the event through the steps of creating a tabletop garden for these culinary plants, and they will also learn how to incorporate their harvest into a variety of dishes.
The materials needed for the project will be supplied to each of the attendees, and themed drinks and light bites will be served. The class is intended to be well suited to the beginner home horticulturist, with several tips for caring for the herb planter shared. Tickets for the evening are available now, and they are priced at $60 each.
The organizers of events like this that bring a hands-on element to learning can count on area Print shops to help. They will be able to take care of marketing a function, while also providing Letterheads and other business Stationery.
The date for this introduction to herb gardening will be April 20. It will begin at 5:00 pm, and the venue for the day will be Petite 4 in Boise.
