Boise to play host to a green evening

The green building movement has taken off in Idaho, and an evening in Boise will celebrate all that has been accomplished.

The U.S. Green Building Council of Idaho will be hosting the USGBC Idaho Community Celebration, which will be an evening of fun and socializing. There will be appetizers, beverages and an opportunity to view a short presentation that gives information about Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) buildings in the state.

Along with this, leaders in the green building community will be on hand to address the crowd, and there will be tours of the JUMP house offered as well. Marketing services can be used by organizers of events such as this to promote them to the public, and help to ensure they are as successful as possible.

The USGBC advocates for socially and environmentally responsible development across the state. All those who plan on attending are encouraged to bring along a guest to help them learn about the movement and help it to grow. Tickets for the event are $35 each for USGBC members and $45 for nonmembers. A discounted price of $20 is being offered to students.

The USGBC Idaho Community Celebration will take place on November 1, starting at 5:30 pm, in Jack's Urban Meeting Place in Boise.

An opportunity to buy tickets or find out more about the evening’s activities can be found on its Eventbrite listing.
