Boise expectant moms invited to register for upcoming classes

The idea of giving birth may be frightening for an expectant mother, but a Boise area initiative can help to take the fear out of the equation.

The students who take part in the “Birthing Nature's Way” series of classes will be well prepared for the arrival of their bundle of joy, and since they will know what to expect, they may find that the process is a lot less painful. They will be given a tool box of techniques they can draw on if they need to, and each person who registers is encouraged to bring their partner as well.

The students in the class will gain experience is using methods such as guided imagery and visualization to reduce pain, and massage and acupressure will also be on the table for discussion. There will be four classes in total, and they will each run for approximately two and a half hours.

Taking a seat in this sort of class can give mothers to be the confidence in themselves they need to take control of their birthing experience. Manuals and other learning materials for these workshops may be prepared by Print shops.

This series of childbirth preparation classes will begin on September 8, and they will also be held on September 15, 22, and 29, all of which are Tuesdays. The venue for these activities can be found at 520 S Eagle Road in Meridian, and the registration fee for the course is $50 each.
