When the New Year arrives, it will bring with it some brand new Flavorful Fairytales and other fun at Boise’s JUMP Studio.
‘Mooncake’ tells the story of a bear who decides he wants to taste the moon, so he builds a rocket to take him there so he can sample it for himself. The story will be read to the assembled group, but that will be just the start of the fun to be had.
Once the storytelling portion of the activity is over, the children who attend will be invited to craft a rocket ship collage of their very own. Before it’s time to go home, the group will have their own chance to taste the moon, as they will be heading to the kitchen where they will whip up some mooncakes to try.
This session is open to all ages, but parents and guardians are asked to remain with their child. The registration fee is $15 each, but they only need to be purchased for the youngsters. A printing services provider can offer Postcards, Flyers, and other publications that can help to promote an event like this to the community.
This first session of this year’s Flavorful Fairytales has been planned for January 10. The JUMP studio can be found at 1000 West Myrtle Street.
