An event has been planned for Boise that will raise funds to help support those living with multiple sclerosis, and also research into finding cures and treatments for those with this disease.
The Walk MS 2017 will have both one- and three-mile options so that people of all abilities will be able to participate. Volunteers will be on hand along the routes to provide assistance to any walkers who need it. To maximize the funds raised through the day’s activities, those who plan on taking part are encouraged to gather their friends, families, and coworkers together to form a team.
After the walking portion of the day is over, there will festivities to enjoy and prizes will be given in an assortment of categories. All ages are welcome to participate in this family friendly event. A printing services company can be called upon by those who organize a day like this to provide T-Shirts, check-in sheets and other business Forms, Banners, and any other printed materials that can help to ensure it will be a success.
The fundraiser has been scheduled for April 8, and it will take place rain or shine. Volunteers will begin checking in those who will be taking part starting at 8:00 am, and the opening ceremonies to kick off the event will be held at 9:30 am. The walk itself will start at 10:00 am, and the post-walk celebration will begin at 11:00 am.
