Boise area to host fragrant summer festival

Strolling through a lavender field and gathering a bunch to take home can be a pleasant way to spend a summer afternoon, and this experience will soon be on offer in the Boise area.

Red Chair Lavender grows a variety of cultivars of this fragrant plant, and it has invited the public to be part of its Lavender Harvest Festival. It has two dates on offer, and the schedule of activities on its agenda is quite extensive.

During this salute to this popular perennial, members of the public will be able to visit the venue's fields so they can collect their own bouquet to take home. They can take in the live music and other entertainment, visit the vendor tables, and relax with a bite to eat and a cold drink. They will also be able to watch how lavender is distilled for its fragrance, as well as taking in the other activities on offer.

When organizing a festival or other large event, planners may find it helpful to reach out to a local printing services company. It will be pleased to prepare everything from letterheads to packing supplies.

Red Chair Lavender has made plans to welcome the public for its Lavender Harvest Festival on July 1st and 2nd. It can be found at 2729 North Haven Drive in Eagle.
