A show highlighting a colorful and popular trade is making its return in Marietta in early August.
The Bellpoint Gem Show is a convention where both consumers and vendors can shop from a selection of gemstones and minerals, as well as products made with them. Items such as fossils, jewelry, tumbled stones, raw stones, beads, crystals, carved pieces, geodes, and a mix of classic and new minerals are among the inventory available from the dealers and artisan crafters at the event.
The display runs over a three-day period. Admission is only available at the door of the venue, and is cash only. Guests are advised that there are no ATMs on site, so they should bring cash with them. The last entries will be allowed 20 minutes before closure the first two days, and 30 minutes prior on the last day. The price is $8 each, although children under the age of seven may enter free with a paying adult.
The event will be taking place at the Cobb County Civic Center. Trade show vendors will commonly have some type of Promotional Products at their booths to help attendees remember them.
For the first two days, August 25 and 26, the show will run from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. On Sunday, August 27, it will be from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
