Toy Lanta will be coming to Marietta in a few weeks. Proceeds go to The Cody Lane Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating the Cody Lane Memorial Toy and Diorama Museum.

The first afternoon will have registration in the lobby from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a vendor preview from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A panel discussion of the “State of the Hobby” will run from 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Other panels will discuss upcoming Transformers toys, traveling with dolls, the six-inch figure phenomenon, Star Wars figures design, 3D printing and design, and yesteryear’s toy brands.

Activities include a makers’ lab, film festival, two toy swaps, parachute launch, auction, cosplay, contests, console gaming, role playing, and board games.

A collection of more than 65 vendors will be selling collectables, and vintage toys, albums, comics, Posters, and action figures. Vendors usually bring Business Cards for those wishing to contact them after the event.
