Marietta welcomes return of street festival

Marietta’s 25th Annual Marietta StreetFest is coming mid-September. Formally known as the Marietta Antique Street Festival the event has grown to include the Marietta Grassroots Music Festival as well.

Marietta Square Farmers Market will start things from 9 am until noon. Over 75 dealers from around Georgia will congregate here in Marietta to display their unique wares. Genres will include home decorations, bottles, glass, linens, furniture and collectibles. Artisans and crafters will be selling arts and crafts from traditional home furnishings to shabby chic furnishings and folk art.

A Children’s Zone will also occur during the time that the art, craft area is open.

The Hubcaps and History Classic Car Show will feature classic cars, motorbikes, vintage vehicles and hot rods.

The Marietta Grassroots Music Festival is an annual celebration of local talent. Bands, singers and songwriters will be participating. Fans will want to get their favorite group or performer’s Promotional Products to show their support.

The 2018 Marietta StreetFest will be Saturday and Sunday September 15th and 16th in downtown Marietta in Glover Park, 50 N. Park Square from 9 am until 5 pm on Saturday and 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday.

The car show will run Saturday, from 10 am until 3 pm if the weather permits.

The Grassroots Festival will be from 3 to 9 pm on September 15th and from 1 until 5 pm on the 16th.
