Marietta to start seasonal show

A company known for their holiday themed spectacles will be kicking off the Marietta edition of their show in mid November.

Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland is a display/interactive event which is crafted by Shadrack Productions, who are working with Cobb County PARKS. The experience combines a drive-through light setup and several hands-on activities. Families can learn about life for the Clauses as they travel through an award winning display from the comfort of their vehicle. The colorful lighting is synced up to Christmas tunes, meaning it will create a moving visual.

Santa’s Village is available after the light show. It has an ice skating rink, activities and rides, a slide of ice, food, and a very special guest named Santa Claus. Santa will be available to spend time with all his visitors, as well as snapping a photo to keep a memory of the exciting night.

Tickets are on Shadrack’s website prior to the event. A booth will be set up for purchases made at the door. Those who buy online are able to get a lower price before opening night, which is $34.95. The regular price will be set at $39.95. A “skip the line” pass is available for $20. Both the ticket and line pass only cover admission for one trip through. However, the tickets can be redeemed on any night.

The show is held at Jim R. Miller Park & Event Center. Many companies turn to flyer printing, a quick and easy method of promotion. Each day will see the display open from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, with possible extension on weekends. The event starts November 17th.
