Marietta Streetfest will be marking the end of summer this weekend. A two-day event will offer a Jewelry Row and Artist Alley, a music festival and a classic car show.
Over 75 artists and craft people will have original work for sale from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm in the Artist Alley and Jewelry Row. Some types of items will be woodworking, soaps, jams, sauces, paintings, and clothing. Antique dealers will be selling vintage linens, glass, collectibles, and furniture. Passersby at events such as this often ask their favorite vendors for their Business Cards so they can purchase more items at a later date.
Two sections will be open for kids. One will be Tiny Tot Town for the really little ones, and a Kids Korner with inflatable slides, art stations and bounce houses.
A GrassRoots Music Festival will be in full swing from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm today (September 21) and go from 1:00 to 5:00 pm tomorrow (September 22). A total of 10 bands, each taking an hour timeslot, will be playing over the two days. Some of the musical entertainment will be Brother Whitlock, East Cobb School of Rock, The Long Shots, Three Fingers, and The Nearest Exit.
The Hubcaps & History Classic Car Show will also be today as part of the festival.
