A venue is going to be offering a learning opportunity for kids using a popular toy. This camp is sure to educate and entertain Marietta youngsters, and is taking place in early July.
Summer Camp: LEGOⓇ Design Camp is a class that is run by and hosted at the Roswell location of the Discover Science Center (DSC). Children who are aged between six and eleven get to work hands-on with the beloved building brick toy while studying engineering principles like motion and force. Students will also get to see how very simple mechanisms and machinery can make moving items easier.
Attendees will work on making both machines and structures, with the plan to learn about how a design can impact the function of the finished product. DSC aims to make learning exciting, while also showing younger children science principles in a way that is more visual and easier to grasp for them.
Campers are required to bring their own water, a pair of snacks, and a meal for lunch. The lesson is a one-day experience, running between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, with the option to extend the end time by an hour to 5:30pm. Tickets, which are found via allevents.in, cost $89, or $99 for the longer program. Flyer printing commonly appears as a method of promoting summer camps for kids. The experience will be held in suite 5 of DSC on July 3rd.
