Marietta will again be the location of this year’s 86th Superior Plumbing North Georgia State Fair. More than 300,000 people are expected to attend the fair’s free shows, attractions, live music, exotic, and farm animals.
The six-day event will have concerts by Riley Green, Montgomery Gentry, Easton Corbin, Colt Ford, Dylan Scott, and Crowdern.
Free shows will include new shows such as Frisco Tiger Encounter, ‘The Human Cannon Ball’ David Smith, Grizzly Experience, and Robo Cars. Shows returning this year will be Treeman and Cowboy Woody, Lady Houdini, Olympic High Dive, Robinson’s Paddling Porkers and Racing Pigs, and ‘Master of the Chainsaw’ Brian Ruth. Kids can enjoy the North Georgia Animals Petting Barn, the Eudora Farms Petting Zoo, and Atlanta Puppets with Peter Hart.
The Great James H. Drew Exposition has become one of the nation’s largest carnival midways, offering over 30 rides including a Swing Tower, the Cyclops, E Factor, Wave Swinger, Georgia Mountain Lift, and Pirate Ship Rides for the older guests, along with the carousel, slide, and rocking tug for the little ones.
Merchandise vendors at these events traditionally sell fair Promotional Products such as T-Shirts, visors, water bottles, and Mugs sporting the event’s graphic design.
The North Georgia State Fair will run from Thursday, September 20 through Saturday, September 29 at Jim Miller Park, 2245 Callaway Road. Hours will be Monday through Thursday 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm, Fridays from 4:00 pm until midnight, and Sundays from 12:30 pm until 10:00 pm.
