Marietta children will have multiple opportunities to hunt for Easter Eggs throughout April.
April 12th will be the 1st Annual Easter Egglow Scramble at Franklin Gateway Sports Complex, 1034 Franklin Gateway SE. Thousands of glow-in-the-dark eggs will be scattered over the park’s three fields. Kids need to bring flashlights.
The gates and concession stand will open at 6:30 pm on Field 3. There will also be inflatables, DJs and games. The Easter Bunny arrives on Field 3 at 7:00 pm for photos. Parents who take pictures of their little ones with the rabbit usually like to take the photos to nearby Print shops for Copies for relatives and friends. Egg hunts will take place on Fields 1 and 2 starting at 8:30 pm.
The Cobb County Easter Egg Hunt will be the next evening from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Al Bishop Softball Complex, 1082 Al Bishop Drive. Four hunts will run from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm and each hunt will be for designated age groups. An all-age hunt will be at 7:00 pm. There will also be art activities, contests, and inflatables.
The Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop will be at Sprayberry High School, 2525 Sandy Plains Road, on April 20 from 10:00 pm until 5:00 pm. More than 90,000 eggs will be dropped by helicopter onto the football field.
