Marietta gets outdoors for Streetfest

Practically everyone here in Marietta will be getting out and enjoying the annual Marietta Streetfest coming in mid-September.

The two-day weekend event will feature over 75 local artists selling their original work in Artist Alley and Jewelry Row. The Kid’s Korner and Tiny Tot Town will have inflatables, games and crafts to keep the little ones busy.

The Hubcaps and History Classic Car Show will be held on the Saturday from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm on the Square’s south side. The show will display restored and original classic cars and motorbikes.

Another element of the Streetfest will be the GrassRoots Music Festival. Marietta and surrounding area musicians and music artists will be sharing their talent with the community. They will perform on Saturday from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

Vendors will be selling their items from 9:00 am until 5 pm on Saturday and 11:00 am until 5:00 pm on Sunday. These are also the hours for Tiny Tot Town and the Kid’s Area.

Parents that bring their kids to events such as this often dress their children in matching colorful tee-shirts featuring the family Logo Design. It makes finding them a lot easier.

Marietta Museum of History will offer free admission from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm on Saturday and noon until 4:00 pm on Sunday.

Marietta Streetfest will be at Marietta Square, September 19th and 20th.
