In mid-November, Marietta holiday revelers will be heading for Candy Rush opening night. This mile-long event has been touted as the longest holiday drive-through in the world.
Two million lights will illuminate the theme park with sugar plum fairies, a gingerbread village, a 40-foot tall trio of candy canes, and twinkling life-size singing treats. The route will be strewn with animated Christmas characters.
Holiday music will be available through an FM station, the call number of which will be provided at the entrance.
Concessions can be purchased as snack packs that are purchased as add-ons with the online reservations and picked up at the gate.
Picture taking is encouraged and many families like to take pictures of holiday events such as this to send to their nearby Stationery printers to be made into Holiday Cards. Event organizers hope pictures taken during the ride will be uploaded and tagged on Instagram.
Since there may be a wait, especially during the weekends, the organizers suggest that kids bring something to entertain themselves.
Entry fee is $35 per car and reservations must be prepaid online. No tickets will be available at the site. Ticket will have predetermined half hour entry time slots. Ticket holders may enter the event any time during that half hour.
Opening night for Candy Rush will be at Six Flags White Water, 250 Cobb Parkway N # 100, November 13 and Candy Rush will run from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm nightly until January 3, 2021.
