A bowling event is on the cards for Marietta amputees who want to enjoy a lively evening of activities and sports with friends and family.
The 4th Annual Amputee Bowler Bash, which benefits So Every Body Can Move, is set to begin in a few weeks. It will provide a space for local amputees to stay active, enjoy laughs, and create memories at a local bowling alley. Sponsored by VSA Prosthetics and Bowlero, it aims to provide equity while promoting physical activities for amputees.
Interested parties can support a good cause by raising funds and awareness of a nationwide movement for insurance equity, as insurance policies do not cover many prosthetics. Bowlers of all skill and experience levels are encouraged to attend and play. Prizes and awards will be available to all registered bowlers. Banner printing is a fun and colorful way to welcome guests while displaying sponsor logos for such events.
Raffles and drawings will also be held, and a grand prize winner will be announced at the festivities' conclusion. Prizes include a kayak, 65-inch television, Blackstone 36” grill, or an electric bicycle. Interested parties who want to watch can enter for a discounted rate.
The Bowlero Austell will host the bowling bash on Saturday, October 5th. Check-in will begin at 11:00 AM, and the bowling will run until 3:30 PM. Bowler registration is open online and costs $25.
