J. Reid’s Tavern will host a Halloween-themed painting event in downtown Macon this October.
The event will combine guided art instruction with an evening social setting. The program is designed for adults interested in creating seasonal artwork without requiring previous painting experience.
Participants will select from several cottage and landscape images before customizing their pieces with autumn- or Halloween-inspired elements. Instruction will be led by Beth Stuerman, a retired educator who spent 28 years teaching and now conducts paint-and-sip programs. Her approach focuses on making painting accessible to beginners while allowing participants to personalize their work.
All materials needed for the project are included with admission. Wine and cocktails will be available from the venue for separate purchase. The program is limited to guests 21 and older, and paid parking is available nearby. Doors will open 30 minutes before instruction begins, providing time for attendees to check in and purchase beverages.
A ticket is priced at $35 before additional charges. A $4.19 service fee and $3.14 in sales tax result in a total cost of $42.33 per admission. Refund requests are accepted until seven days ahead of the program.
Organizers of arts workshops such as this one often use poster printing to promote sessions, instructors, and event themes.
