This July, Macon will host its annual Great Tiki Crawl. The interactive event combines themed entertainment, local businesses, and specialty beverages into an evening designed to encourage participants to explore several venues throughout the city center.
The experience follows a playful storyline in which attendees must recover pieces of a missing outfit by visiting participating locations. At each stop, participants will receive a themed clothing item while enjoying island-inspired beverages and activities. Organizers have designed the event to blend a self-guided downtown tour with a lighthearted challenge that rewards guests as they progress through the crawl.
Seven businesses are participating in the event, including Longleaf Distillery, Fall Line Brewing, Just Tap’d, JBA, Reboot, Ocmulgee Brewpub, and Cashman’s.
Admission includes an official event map and all seven collectible clothing items distributed during the evening. The ticket price is $11.00, with additional charges consisting of a $2.58 service fee and $1.09 sales tax, bringing the total cost to $14.67 per person. Tickets will remain available through the day of the event.
Organizers note that the gathering will take place regardless of weather conditions and that all ticket purchases are final. As with many community entertainment events, organizers often work with Print shops to produce maps, promotional materials, and participant guides.
The Great Tiki Crawl will begin at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, at Fall Line Brewing Co., 567 Plum St, Macon, Georgia.
