What's Happening in Decatur, GA…

Workshop spreads knowledge and help to Decatur mothers

A mom workshop is in the works for the Decatur region next month, allowing area mothers to meet with experts and fellow moms to learn and grow as parents.

The Mom Talks workshop invites both current and soon-to-be moms to attend and learn more about what it takes to become the best parent possible. The event will feature several keynote speakers who will talk about what has worked for them when diving into the experience of becoming a parent.

Headlining the speakers at the event are Kimberly L. Jones, an expert on community advocacy, Ashley Mitchell, a co-mothering expert, and Dr. Robyn Brookshire, a schooling and education expert. Moms who attend the gathering can expect to walk away with tips and advice to provide the best upbringing to their children. Brochure printing is an effective tool to share tips and information at such workshops.

The ticket price covers on-site parking for the workshop, endless coffee, a light breakfast, and a locally made lunch. Guests will enjoy countless mom jokes and opportunities to network and create new friendships with other attendees.

The Miller-Ward Alumni House will host the workshop on Friday, November 8, with guests welcome to arrive at 8:00 AM and the event ending at 5:00 PM. Tickets cost $169 and can be reserved online.
