Port St. Lucie welcomes upscale all-inclusive resort

A Texas-based hospitality business with international reach is opening its first property in the United States in Port St. Lucie.

Aimbridge Hospitality has announced the addition of voco Sandpiper All-Inclusive Resort to its portfolio of properties. Formerly known as the Sandpiper Bay All-Inclusive Resort, the facility is rapidly being renovated at a cost of around $50M.

The brand intends to make an impact with its first US property. Its all-inclusive approach will offer meals, drinks, and program activity choices to patrons in one bundled price. Plans for the upscale resort include a fitness center, arcade, water sports activities, and a full-service marina. RPS Academy, an adjoining property focused on sports offerings, will work in cooperation with the hotel to provide tennis, soccer, pickleball, and other recreational sports to hotel clients. Stationery printers and similar graphic design products are useful to hotels.

Keith Lee, managing member of Sandpiper Bay Resort Holdings LLC, recently commented on the new approach:

“Our vision for voco Sandpiper All-Inclusive Resort is to create a premier all-inclusive destination in the U.S. that sets a new standard for guest experiences."

The word “voco” is derived from Latin, meaning “to call together.” IHG (International Hotel Group) included the word within the brand name to convey a sense of relaxation and warmth.

According to the IHG website, the 335-unit hotel will begin accepting reservations on January 30, 2026. Its first renovation phase should be complete in early 2026.
