Wickham Park in Melbourne, Florida will host the 37th staging of the annual Melbourne Art Festival later this month.
The festival, which was awarded one of the top 200 art shows in the USA by Sunshine Artist Magazine, is a family-friendly event aimed at promoting, encouraging, and educating people about the world of art. All proceeds raised at the festival will go towards art and art education in Brevard County.
Over 200 painters, sculptors, weavers, and jewelers will showcase their pieces in the park. There will be an art competition for students in grades 7 to 12. Attendees also have the option of taking part in the Flamingo 5K Run.
Admission is free, and there will be free activities and live entertainment for all ages. The live entertainment will start at 11:30 am on both days. Several vendors will be on site to provide a variety of food, snacks, and beverages.
