El Espacio 23 in Hialeah will display a collection of art throughout the year that showcases how several artists interpret the meaning of territory.
A World Far Away, Nearby and Invisible is an art collection that people can browse to experience how the concept of territory is represented and celebrated by different artists. There are many artists who are featured in the exhibition, such as Maria Luisa Pacheco, Liz Quispe Cardenas, and Kelly Sinnapah Mary. The exhibit is organized in four chapters, and the collection was curated by Claudia Segura Campins. There will be paintings and sculptures displayed in the gallery.
El Espacio 23 is an art gallery that was founded by Jorge Pérez, the chief executive officer for The Related Group and an avid art collector. He also created organizations such as the Related Philanthropic Foundation and the Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation. Many exhibitions have been held at the museum, including Mirror of the Mind, To Weave the Sky, and You Know Who You Are. The gallery also has art residency programs for artists and curators.
The art collection will be on display at El Espacio 23 until August 15th. The museum is open Thursday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. There is no cost to enter the exhibition, and guests are allowed to walk into the museum without an appointment. Galleries that have similar displays to this may use poster printing services to advertise their exhibitions.
