The Koubek Center in Hialeah will hold a concert in February that combines Latin jazz with flamenco dancing.
Flamenco Meets Latin Jazz is a program where people can enjoy a live music and dance show from several talented performers. The event is part of the Away From Home Series, which is a series of shows held outside of the Miami-Dade County Auditorium. The lead performer of the event is José Negroni, and he will be accompanied by the Negroni‘s Trío and Ed Calle. Salvador de Ángela will provide vocals for the show, and María Mercedes and José Junco will be the dancers.
José Negroni is a composer and pianist from Puerto Rico. He has taught at the Music Conservatory in Puerto Rico and worked with noteworthy performers such as Apollo Sound and La Sonora Ponceña. Negroni has also released several albums, including Piano/Drums/Bass and Naturaleza/Nature. Salvador de Ángela is a singer from Madrid who trained at the Flamenco Academy of Art. He performed at theaters in Miami and held shows at many clubs in Valencia and Malaga.
The performance will take place on February 7th at 8:00 pm. Ticket prices will cost $50 per person, though seniors can order their tickets for $40 each. No refunds will be given for the live show. Performance centers that organize events such as this may use brochure printing services to make custom programs for their shows.
