Hialeah plans brew party

An event designed specifically for adults is coming up in Hialeah.

The City of Hialeah is hosting the Flamingo Brew Fest, the ultimate mix of bites, beats, and brews, which will be held at the Garden of the Arts. People are invited to enjoy craft beers, live music, and delicious treats that can be purchased from local food trucks.

The participating vendors and breweries already confirmed include local operations as well as those based in other states. Thus far, participants are J. Wakefield Brewing; Kona Big Wave, which is based in Hawaii; Wicked Weed, which is based in Asheville, North Carolina; and Hatuey, a Cuban-style beer named for a national hero. The brewery was established in Cuba and now also brews in the United States.

Other participants include Famosa Imported Beer; SWAF Beer, which is made in Switzerland and just entering the U.S. Market; Estrella Galicia, a Spanish brand; La Rubia; Prison Pals, which started in Argentina; the MIA Beer Company; The Tank Brewing Company; Cerveceria La Tropical; and the South Beach Brewing Company.

Other participants are Beatbox, who make hard teas and punches; and Caribbean Moonshine, which makes distilled drinks. Twin Peaks, a sports bar and restaurant, will also be present.

This huge festival of food and drink is scheduled for November 9, from 2.00 pm until 6.00 pm. The Garden of the Arts is located at 1850 West 76th Street. Events like this often benefit if organizers use poster printing to create colorful advertisements.
