An event that has put Milford on the map among oyster lovers is set to welcome the public this August, and its organizers are accepting arts and craft vendor applications for 2022.
This year will be the 48th for the Milford Oyster Festival, which takes place annually in the community's downtown. The plans include at least 30,000 of this tasty shellfish, paired with craft beer and wines.
This popular event often attracts a crowd that numbers in the thousands, and it will take place at the Historic Milford Green. Those who submit an application to be an arts and crafts vendor will need to fill out an application which includes a description of their products, as well as a photo of their wares. Electricity may be available, and the booking fee for individual space starts at $170.00. The accepted businesses will be able to start their set-up the night before the festival.
