The Milford chapter of the Rotary Club engages in a variety of activities that serve the community, and an event is on the way that it hopes will put the “fun” in “fundraising.”
The Club will be welcoming seafood fans for its 46th annual Lobster Bake, which will be the group’s signature fundraiser for this year. The monies raised will support local service projects, and tickets start at $60. Anyone interested can purchase theirs from their local Rotarian.
This East Coast tradition will see diners enjoy either a single or double lobster dinner, or there will be a 14-ounce steak alternative for any in the crowd who prefer turf to surf. An assortment of sides, including coleslaw, corn, rolls, and butter will be offered, with dessert and bottomless beer and wine also on the menu.
A seafood bake or boil can be a fun idea for a casual summer fundraiser. A poster printing company can prepare attention-grabbing marketing materials that will help to build the buzz about an activity in the local area.
The 46th annual Milford Rotary Lobster Bake is set to treat everyone to a surf or turf feast on Saturday, July 27. Lisman Landing Marina, which is located at 37 Helwig Street, will host the proceedings, and the fun will kick off at 3:30 pm.
