Milford puts together weekend of Halloween fun
As fall gets into full swing, Milford will be celebrating the season’s creepy side by hosting its annual Hall-O-Weekend event, and all ages can be part of the fun.
The Downtown Milford Business Association works to build a strong connection between local companies, the community, and the public in general. Many of the group’s merchants have already signed on to take part in the festivities, and while the fun will be spooky, it will still be family friendly.
The excitement will kick off on Friday with a movie screened under the stars, and everyone is encouraged to bundle up, pack some snacks and portable seating, and enjoy the show.
On Sunday, the schedule includes mini photo sessions , a toddler-friendly ghost story time at the gazebo, children’s yoga and other activities. The festivities will wrap up with a costume parade that will wind its way past local businesses.
Fall festivals are popular in many communities, and they give everyone a chance to celebrate before the hectic winter holiday season. Banners and other decor for a function will be available at area banner printing companies, along with a full line of other customized materials.
