Fans of freshly harvested oysters will soon have a cause to celebrate, and this Milford tradition will offer a full schedule of summertime activities.
The 47th annual Milford Oyster festival will celebrate this popular shellfish, and has been planned so that it will allow the guests to enjoy themselves in safety. The organizers have included the activities that have come to be some of its traditional favorites, and the festivities will kick off with an evening dubbed “Oyster Eve,” featuring live music along with food, wine, and beer
As in previous years, the attendees will be able to sample their fill of shellfish, and they can also enjoy the crafter and artisan area. A car show, kayak and canoe races, and a not-for-profit zone are all on the agenda. The lineup of performers is still being built, and more details will be released closer to its scheduled date.
