Milford area library to hold family-friendly campout

Summer is right around the corner, and to celebrate the arrival of the season, a Milford area library has a night of special fun on offer.

The Pequot Library explained on its website that it is excited to welcome the return of Miss Susan’s Bring Your Own Picnic and Campout, and it will be taking place on the building’s Great Lawn. It will be a family-friendly celebration, with fun on offer for any age.

The festivities will see members of the public spreading out a blanket and enjoying the picnic food they have brought along, and both cauliflower and chicken nuggets supplied by Garden Catering and cookies courtesy of The Pantry will be available for purchase. Everyone can try their hand at lawn games and other activities, and before the sun goes down, the crowd will be able to pitch a tent so they can enjoy the bonfire and stay the night. Admission is free.

To help make the camp out even more fun, there will be live entertainment and a pillow fight. A flyer printing company can be counted on to offer effective ways of marketing a function to the public over a wide area.

The Pequot Library has planned this summer kick-off for June 10. The function’s scheduled start time is 6:30 pm, and the host may be reached by phone at 203-259-0346.
