Milford animal lovers will be heading to Pickett District Fields for a special occasion that will put Fido, Fluffy, Polly, and other animal companions front and center.
Pets in the Park will be a fundraiser for animal rescue organizations that serve the local area. This will be the second year the function has taken place, and along with helping pets in need, it will show some love to area small businesses.
The activity, which will boast a festival-style atmosphere, will offer free face painting for the kids, and they can also spend time browsing in the vendor area. Both ice cream and hot dog mobile food service providers have been invited to participate, and while all pets are welcome, they must either be in carriers or leashed.
Along with raising money for the cause, one of the main goals of the day is to help abandoned and unwanted companion animals to find new and loving homes. Stationery printers can lend a hand with an event by preparing adoption Forms, order Forms, Letterheads, and other custom paperwork.
The 2023 Pets in the Park festival will be held on June 4. It will be open to the public from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.
