The Vertical Flight Society’s is the world’s only international organization created for scientists, engineers and others in the field of vertical flight technology, and the group has made arrangements for its annual Milford area golf fundraiser.
The Vertical Flight Foundation will benefit from the proceeds of the 28th annual Vertical Flight Society’s ( VFS) Stratford Chapter’s Golf Tournament, and it will be teeing off at Blackhawk Country Club. There registration fee is $180 for an individual player and $680 for a foursome, and the day will open with registration and lunch.
The golfers will take to the course at 1:00 pm, and once the shotgun fires, it will be time to play. The fee being charged to participate covers the cost of the green fees as well as refreshments, lunch and dinner, Awards will also be presented at the end of the day, and a ticket option is available for anyone who can only attend the evening meal.
To thank the players for their support, they will each go home with a swag bag of selected Promotional Products and other items. There may also be networking during the event, so the golfers and other attendees may want to bring along some Business Cards.
This opportunity to hit the golf course in support of a scholarship fund set up to help those interested in vertical flight pursue their education will welcome players on August 19th. Registration will open at 11:30 am.
