Milford has a fall festival in the works that will celebrate the area's German heritage.
The two-day-long Milford Oktoberfest, which is produced with support from the Devon Rotary Club, will be kicking off autumn with a weekend of excitement for everyone who gets involved. It is expected that it will attract a crowd of thousands, and the occasion will kick off with a happy hour. Admission to this portion of the festivities is free of charge.
Once the community’s mayor has tapped the first keg, the beer will be flowing, and everyone can dance the night away to two different bands. The Oktoberfest 1 mile “fun run n’ chug”, will be back, and refreshments will be served. The area behind the library will be transformed into a huge outdoor Biergarten, with food and beverages available for purchase. Traditional German dancers will perform, and the evening will also feature music supplied by live bands.
The function serves as a fundraiser for the Rotary Club, and which will use the monies raised to fund its various community service projects. Printers of Corporate Gifts will be able to craft T-Shirts for the use of staff and volunteers at a large function so that they stand apart from the crowd.
Milford’s Oktoberfest will be raising a stein in salute to fall's arrival starting on September 23. Many of the activities will be on offer at 1 Shipyard Lane.Get a Free Quote for Corporate Gifts Get a Free Quote for T-Shirts
