A Milford area event will be putting men’s mental health in the spotlight, and its listing pointed out it will offer good food, conversation and connection.
The Men’s Mental Health Cookout will bring guys together for an activity that is focused on just them, and it will be held in the afternoon. While youth under 18 are welcome, it's been asked that they attend with a parent or guardian.
The plans for the occasion kick off with check in and a warm welcome, and there will be an assortment of area vendors on site. Everyone can sign up for the raffle draw, and games, music and other entertainment has been organized. Barbecue Bullying will be supplying the “eats”, and the Nicholas Higgs Courage award will be presented to this year's recipient. A Mental health panel discussion will round out the day, and the organizers explained that the only thing the attendees need to bring is a folding chair.
To help make the activity accessible to as many men as they can ,the planners have made it possible to "donate" a ticket to someone in need. Promotional Products may add a finishing touch to an activity, and can be prepared by Print shops.
This afternoon that will be all about why men’s mental health matters will be running from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm on July 19th. The venue will be 129 Bull Hill Lane.
